Psycho Transcription
Working on a transcription of Bernard Herrmann’s Prelude from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
Good exercise for the ears and getting those string chops up!
Interesting fact: apparently the low budget of the film is part of the reason why Herrmann composed the score for a string orchestra instead of a full orchestra.
